Breast Augmentation costs

The cost of breast augmentation includes personal consultation with the plastic surgeon, general anesthesia, implants, surgery, one overnight stay at the clinic, two special bras what you have to wear after breast enlargment procedure, medications and post-surgery support.

Types of breast augmentation procedures

Our surgeons will answer all your questions about this surgery and give you guidance before and after surgery. There are two types of breast augmentation:

• Primary augmentation - to increase the size of the breast for cosmetic reasons


• Revision augmentation - to correct or improve the consequences of a previous surgery

Types of incisions

Breast enlargement is not a complicated procedure and lasts only one to two hours depending on the patient and the breast forms. There are different types of incisions, implant pocket placements and implant materials to choose from. Your doctor will discuss all these issues with you and recommend the option that suits your body. Hungarian plastic surgeons place the implants for breast augmentation using one of three types of incisions:

• Inframammary
  an incision made below the breast. This is considered to be the best one as it gives maximum access and the scar is hardly visible.


• Periareolar
  the only incision that cuts through breast tissues. It is considered the most aesthetic but involves the most risk. With this type, the risk of infections is higher.


• Transaxillary
  With this type of incision, implants are placed through the armpit. Because scars are minimal, many plastic surgeons prefer it over other options. However, in some cases, the incision can make breasts look asymmetrical.

Types of breast implants

Breast implant shapes can be round or pear shaped and both shapes resemble natural breasts. Implant size varies as well, but the average size is 300 cc. Your surgeon will recommend the implant size that bests suits your body; by choosing the right size, there are fewer complications.

Breast implant positioning

Breast implant surgery can be performed under either the glandular tissues or the pectoral muscles. The surgery does not damage glandular tissues and in most cases breast-feeding is possible after having such an implant.

• Sub-glandular
  The breast implant is placed within the breast tissue and the pectoralis muscle. This is the optimal position because it closely resembles the form of a natural breast.


• Sub-fascial
  The breast implant is placed in the sub-glandular position, underneath the fascia of the pectoralis muscle.


• Sub-pectoral
  The breast implant is placed underneath the pectoralis major muscle after freeing the lower muscular attachments.


• Sub-muscular
  The breast implant is placed underneath the pectoralis muscle without release of the inferior origin of the muscle.

After the breast enlargement surgery

After a breast enlargement surgery the patient is required to wear a special bra, day and night, for at least one month. With little risk of implants breaking or causing major damage, an active life can still be had after breast augmentation surgery.
