Neck lift surgery - (platysmaplasty)
Neck lift surgery is also known as platysmaplasty. As with the face, the neck is one of the first areas to reveal the tell-tale signs of aging. Other than aging, considerable weight loss can also contribute to sagging skin forming on the neck and under the jaw line. While sometimes only a neck lift surgery is required to improve facial characteristics, it is not uncommon for people to combine a face lift, with a neck lift procedure. In fact a neck lift can be combined with several other surgeries, such as for example liposuction, forehead lift and eyebrow lift, upper eyelid surgery, lower eyelid surgery, temporal lifting.
