The Procera AllCeram process
Two materials are utilized In the Procera AllCeram tooth restoration process: aluminum oxide ceramic and porcelain. During the Procera AllCeram procedure, aluminum oxide cores are prepared with the help of CAD/CAM technology, allowing for a perfect fit. In order to improve the appearance of the tooth, translucent porcelain is placed above it.
The materials used in this procedure are bio-compatible just like titanium, so there are no allergic reactions. Procera crowns are made by a dental technician in such a way that an understructure is prepared out of aluminum oxide, providing proper support for the porcelain layer. The understructure needs to be perfectly shaped so that it can accept the porcelain crown.
Once the dentist receives the Procera dental crowns from the dental technician they are then inserted, the dentist making certain that they are customized for the most appropriate fit.
The Procera AllCeram process brings teeth to perfection, producing excellent results well beyond all expectations.
