About Hungary
Hungary is situated in the center of Europe, bordering with seven other countries. The western part of the the country comprises a diverse topography with smaller hills and open ranges. Here can be found the biggest lake of central Europe, the favourite destination of the Hungarians on the summer, the Lake Balaton. 200 km of shorline, green water, lot’s of facilities for watersports, popular wine cellars.
On the eastern part of Hungary located the Great Plain, which is a famous tourist attraction with some native animals and ethnographical culture. The two main river of the country is the Danube which runs through the country from north to the south spitting Budapest in two. The other is the River Tisza runs ont he eastern part of Hungary. The highest point is Kékes teto (1014) int he Mátra mountins.
